Timberline Panel Company, LLC, was recently awarded Honorable Mention at the SIPA National Building Excellence Awards for the Brandt-Schaller residence in New Hartford, CT.  The home was constructed with 6.5" (R23) wall panels & 10.25' (R39) roof panels supported by an architectural grade glulam ridge & purlin system.  The home scored a HERs rating of 4 with a blower door rating of .4.  Along with the incredibly tight & efficient SIP shell the house incorporates PV electric as well as evacuated tube solar hot water & is rated to produce more annual energy than the family of 4 will consume.

The same energy efficient shell used on this project is used on every VTF home ... this is why VTF homes are "effortlessly green" & among the most energy efficient homes being built today.
